I always come back to this place because it is perfect for me. They helped with currency advice during my first stay. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, electric kettle. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

Great host who provided helpful recommendations and answered all our questions. The breakfast on the terrace with a sea view was a nice touch. The location was convenient as it was a short walk to the old town and had a good view. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had a nice balcony. The self-service breakfast had a wide variety of options and even included a kettle and toaster.
The key for the electricity was inconvenient as it was attached to other keys and couldn't be detached. The mattress was very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, this bed and breakfast made sure I didn't have to feel disconnected from the outside world. It was like having a virtual travel companion, always there to help and guide me during my stay.
Electricity key inconvenience.

The Arete B&B in Syracuse is a great choice for those wanting to be close to the beach. The property is well-maintained and run by a friendly host who ensures a memorable stay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean, with a small but nice balcony overlooking the harbor. The location is convenient, with easy access to Ortigia and free parking nearby. The level of cleanliness is impressive, and the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is a highlight, with delicious croissants, good coffee, and a wide variety of options.
Felt very lucky, nothing to complain about.

We had a wonderful stay at a B&B with a charming room and a delightful hostess. The balcony overlooking the harbor was a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, with a tray provided in each room for convenience. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a nice variety of options including cereal, yogurt, cheese, meats. The location was perfect, offering a pleasant stroll to the nearby town and a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
Finding the property was a bit of a challenge, as better signage at the main entrance would have been helpful. It was also a long walk to the nearby town, especially during the hot summer months, so having a car would be recommended.

One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful sea-view balcony in the triple room. Waking up to the breathtaking view of the sparkling blue ocean felt like stepping into a postcard. It was truly a magical experience that made me feel like royalty in my own little castle.
Signage at the main entrance could be improved.

We got excellent value for our money with a well-equipped room and a beautiful balcony overlooking the harbor. The location was great, within walking distance to the old town, and we appreciated the safe parking area for our car. The staff, especially Ersilia and her dad, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, with sailboats and fishing boats coming in and an island full of tourist charms just beyond. The beds were new, comfortable, and provided a good night's sleep. The B&B was quiet and cozy, with only two rooms. The small balcony for each room added a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking view. It was definitely great value for money.

Rooms equipped with private bathrooms: The rooms at this B&B were a pleasant surprise, with private bathrooms that were clean and well-equipped. The shower had great water pressure, and the provided hair dryer was a lifesaver. It felt like having a private spa in the room!
Inconvenient room key for electricity: The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the room key for electricity. It was attached to other keys and couldn't be detached, which made it a bit cumbersome.
